Richardson Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

Welcome to our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) page! Our PAC is made up of parents and guardians who provide a voice for our students. We work with our school administration and staff to support school initiatives, build community through events and activities, and put on and share fundraisers to reinvest where it’s needed at Richardson.

Keep reading for how you can keep up-to-date with activities, sign up for our school lunches site, MunchaLunch, and more about participating and connecting with us.

Why should I connect with the PAC?

Parent and guardian voices are a tremendous value to our school. Through the PAC you can:

  • Share any aspirations, questions or concerns you have, and connect with our administration, including our Principal and Vice-Principal.
  • Offer a wealth of ideas and support in a variety of ways.
  • Help represent the diversity within our communities and contribute to the benefit of all students.
  • Learn about activities throughout the year, including school lunches, events, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities.

What kinds of activities does the PAC typically host or support?

Our past events have included our popular:

  • Halloween Spooktacular
  • Free movie nights
  • Fun Fair
  • Fundraisers to support field trips and other school activities and initiatives, such as cultural events, the grade 7 leaving ceremony, and playground updates.
  • And more!

These are completely run by volunteers made up of parents and guardians in our community and ALL contributions are appreciated.

Do you have an idea of a business we might connect with for school lunches or fundraisers, great events or initiatives that you’d like to see, or interested to being a volunteer? Send us an email or message us through our social channels.
