Richardson Elementary will be holding its Annual Christmas Hamper and Deltassist Food Drive from Tuesday, November 20^th to Wednesday, December 14^th.  You can help by donating unexpired, non-perishable food items to assist families in need in our community.  The most useful contributions include grocery staples, such as dried cereal, pasta and rice, canned fruit, vegetables, hearty soups, stews, meat and fish, peanut butter, fruit juices, baby food and formula.

Please note that due to health regulations, we cannot accept home canned items, or items that have been removed from their original packaging.

Students are encouraged to bring donated food items to their classrooms over the next three weeks.  If we reach our goal of 1,000 items, the students will be given an extra recess as a small thank you.  We will also be asking families to consider bringing a new unwrapped toy or a non-perishable food item as part of their admission to the Christmas Concerts on December 18^th and 19^th.
