École Élémentaire Richardson Elementary School

Principal's message

We are pleased to be the official leaders at École Élémentaire Richardson Elementary School. Our students, staff and parents are extremely warm and welcoming and we feel very fortunate to be working in such a supportive, caring community.

Richardson Elementary School is a dual track school, offering both English and French Immersion programs from kindergarten through grade seven. In addition, we are a culturally diverse school where children learn the value of multi-culturalism. Our school is a newer facility, located on a quiet street in North Delta. Approximately 440 students attend our school.

At Richardson, math is one of our school-wide focus goals. Our aim is to improve the math skills of all students in our building. In particular, we are focused on using math manipulatives combined with concrete math strategies to meet the needs of our students. Our staff is committed to expanding their knowledge and skills in the area of math in order to provide the best instructional programs possible. We have very dedicated staff members who work hard to meet the wide-range of needs amongst our students.

Richardson offers a wide variety of programs designed to meet the needs of all students. We have active sports opportunities such as volleyball, basketball, and track and field. In addition, we offer a range of volunteer opportunities for students.

There is a very active Parent Advisory Council (PAC) at Richardson and we greatly appreciate the work that they do. Our parents are very supportive of our school programs and we value their teamwork. By working together, we can achieve great things for our students.
